Data Deletion Instructions

1. How to Request Deletion

Rubicon provides users with a way to request deletion of Meta-related data, Google Ads-related data, and Google Analytics-related data used in connection with the Rubicon platform.

2. Option A: Through Meta/Facebook

1. Go to Facebook Settings and Privacy.
2. Open Settings.
3. Open Apps and Websites.
4. Find and remove the Rubicon app.
5. If Facebook shows a deletion request option, submit the deletion request.

3. Option B: Through Google

1. Open your Google account permissions or connected apps settings.
2. Find Rubicon in the list of connected applications.
3. Revoke Rubicon access to your Google account.
4. If you also want already synced Google Ads-related or Google Analytics-related data deleted from Rubicon, email us as described below.

4. Option C: Directly Through Rubicon

Send an email to info@crossrubicon.com with the subject line Meta Data Deletion Request or Data Deletion Request.

Please include your full name, the email address associated with your Rubicon account, your organization or team name, the Meta ad account ID, Facebook Page ID, Google Ads customer ID, Google Analytics account ID, or Google Analytics property ID connected to Rubicon if known, and a short description of what you want deleted.

5. What Rubicon Will Delete

After we verify the request, we will delete or de-identify relevant Meta-related data, Google Ads-related data, and Google Analytics-related data associated with your request to the extent required by applicable law and applicable platform requirements.

• Stored Meta access tokens.
• Stored Google OAuth refresh tokens or related connection credentials.
• Meta connection records.
• Google Ads connection records.
• Google Analytics connection records.
• Synced Meta comments and related engagement data.
• Synced advertising analytics, website analytics, and related reporting data.
• Other Meta-derived or Google-derived workspace data associated with the identified team or account, where deletion is requested and technically applicable.

6. What Happens When a Connection Is Only Disconnected

Disconnecting a Meta account, Google Ads account, or Google Analytics property inside Rubicon removes the active connection and stored credentials for that connection, but it may not automatically remove historical analytics data already synced into the workspace.

If you want historical Meta-derived data, Google-derived data, or both deleted as well, please say so explicitly in your deletion request.

7. Verification

To protect user and workspace security, Rubicon may request additional information to verify your identity, your authority to act for the relevant organization or workspace, and the scope of the deletion request.

8. Response Timing

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests promptly and complete them within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal, contractual, fraud-prevention, security, and recordkeeping obligations.
